Proboscis Monkeys Leap Into Crocodile

Proboscis monkeys, known for their large noses and strong swimming skills, sometimes leap into rivers to escape predators or move between trees. In rare and dramatic instances, these leaps may result in them landing near or even into the territory of crocodiles. Crocodiles, being ambush predators, may seize the opportunity to attack. Such events highlight the dangers proboscis monkeys face in their natural habitat and the predator-prey dynamics of Southeast Asian river ecosystems.
